This selection is Ludolph Arens' arrangement of a popular German holiday folk song, "Morgen Kinder Weihnacht," (Children, tomorrow will be Christmas). Arens arranged the folk song into four sections: a traditional setting, a linear andante, the theme with a flute obbligato, and a canon.
